We want you to be comfortable with every surgical procedure.
  • Canine Reproduction ServicesSachse Veterinary Hospital is proud to house The International Canine Semen Bank of Texas since 2000. Dr. Pirkey and Dr. Ford are qualified reproduction doctors in the procedures of semen collection, transcervical, and artificial insemination. We have multiple semen storage tanks on-site for your convenience as well.
  • Grooming: We offer full-service professional grooming for dogs and cats. Grooms must be dropped off between 8:00 am-9:30 am. You will be contacted as soon as your pet is ready for pick-up. If your pet needs vaccination updates during their groom appointment, you can inform us at drop-off. Please note that if you have any questions for the veterinarian about your pet at the time of pick-up after a grooming appointment, this will require a separate scheduled veterinarian appointment so that they can dedicate the appropriate time necessary to answer any of your questions.
    • Bordetella (kennel cough) and rabies are vaccines that are required for grooming, although Distemper/Parvo are highly recommended. If either or both of these vaccines are needed, they can be administered by a doctor after a state-required brief exam during their grooming appointment. These charges will be in addition to the grooming cost.
  • Microchipping: Placement of a HomeAgain microchip can help assure your pet makes it back to you if ever lost.
  • Dental Care: Did you know that good oral health can add years to your pet’s life? It’s true! That’s because tartar and plaque are nothing more than bacteria, which, if left on the teeth, can make their way into your pet’s bloodstream, causing damage to the liver, kidneys, and even the heart! We offer ultrasonic scaling and polishing of your pet’s teeth, followed by a complete oral exam by your veterinarian. We will also make recommendations for at-home oral care so that you get the most out of your pet’s professional teeth cleaning.
  • Radiology: Radiography (x-rays) is on the best diagnostic tools veterinarians have to help diagnose a problem. At Sachse Veterinary Hospital, we have digital radiography, which gives us an image of your pet in about 8 seconds!
  • Boarding & Day Care: Taking a vacation? Let your pet vacation with us! Our compassionate animal care technicians will ensure your pet’s comfort and safety while you are away in our standard runs, indoor/outdoor runs, or luxury rooms. We are now offering Pet Day Care when you need your pet taken care of during the day! Please call for pricing.
    • Bordetella (kennel cough), Rabies, and Distemper/Parvo are vaccines that are required for boarding. If any of these vaccines are needed, they can be administered by a doctor during a state-required brief exam once they arrive for their boarding appointment. These charges will be in addition to the boarding cost.
